Welcome to Fattoria Bigongiari Agriturismo, a rural oasis of tranquility located only 7 km from Lucca, along the picturesque road that leads to the seaside resort of Viareggio, 15 km away. Nestled in the heart of Tuscany, our farm offers an authentic and charming experience, ideal for those who wish to live in close contact with nature and animals. Our farm is a true paradise for animal lovers. Here we raise about 100 cows and pigs and host a variety of other animals, including two donkeys, ducks, geese, chickens, pigeons, as well as dogs and cats. Furthermore, we have enclosures dedicated to peacocks and wild boars, offering a unique spectacle that delights both young and old. Our guests can choose from 7 completely renovated apartments, located in two historic buildings within the farm. These apartments, originally part of a 17th-century villa, combine historical charm with modern comforts, allowing you to fully enjoy the villa's garden for moments of outdoor relaxation. The apartments bear the names of the farm workers who once lived there: "Nello", "Guido", "Rosina", "Lina", "Leda", "Eugenio", and "Divo". "Nello", "Guido", "Rosina", "Lina", and "Leda" have two bedrooms, while "Eugenio" and "Divo" have one. They all feature a sofa bed in the living room, and "Lina", "Leda", "Rosina", and "Guido" also offer an additional single bed in the master bedroom. These apartments can accommodate from 4 to 7 people, making them ideal for families and groups of friends. The farm management is a family affair: brothers Mario, Carlo, and Annibale Bigongiari have inherited their parents' passion for this land. Every day, we wake up early to take care of the cows and the numerous daily activities, while ensuring a serene environment for our guests. In our shop, managed by Annibale, you can purchase delicious sausages and cured meats produced on-site. Pets are welcome on our farm, with any additional costs that may apply.
